We, founders of Cuvens ideated for more than a year. With a lot of brainstorming, imagination, deliberation, debate founders shortlisted few ideas, one of which they should be working on. Then was a detailed planning and resource gathering period. Unfortunately, the company's (Cuvens Online Solutions Pvt Ltd.) registration coincided with the beginning of a nationwide lockdown against Covid19. Like any other business in the world, our just born business also paused just before starting to take-off. All our planning and estimation were almost obsolete! We reworked go leaner and decided to plan & execute in a staggered and iterative manner. Nonetheless, the circumstance seems to have brought in new opportunities in disguise, for what we are trying to do.

The choice of the business model - Manufacturing as a Service - was well thought out against going for the traditional thought process of setting up a manufacturing facility. It wasn't due to the scarcity of capital also. With very decent capital that founders themselves have allocated to the business personally and much more they could readily mobilize, a fairly well equipped captive manufacturing facility could have built. However, the founders decided to allocate the capital differently to build on a new & unorthodox business model. Founders starting this venture, after decades of work experience and rising through cooperate ladder, and then quitting their well paying corporate jobs is a good enough testimony of conviction that founders have in the business and business model.
